Subaru Legacy glass details to check

The sedan range starts at 1995 and runs through 2013; the wagon range starts at 1990 and ends at 2007. A 2010 Legacy sedan is listed, while a 2010 wagon needs a separate check. Keep Legacy and Outback model names distinct in your vehicle description.

What the kit covers

The side-and-rear package covers the front and rear side windows, applicable quarter windows and rear glass for the confirmed configuration. Check the pieces against your vehicle while the backing liners are intact.

Front windshield, roof glass, sun strips, tools and installation service are outside this package. A windshield option needs its own availability check; the side-and-rear table does not confirm windshield fitment.

Choose front and rear film shades

Listed side-and-rear options are 5%, 10%, 15%, 20%, 25%, 30%, 35%, 50% and 70% VLT, subject to availability. Enter two shades in front / rear order. For example, 35 / 20 means 35% film on the front side windows and 20% on the rear side windows and rear glass.

Lower VLT means darker film. Existing tinted glass affects the finished appearance and light transmission. Compare shades and coverage options and check the requirements for your vehicle and location before ordering.

Prepare for a DIY installation

Pre-cut film still needs glass preparation, careful positioning and installation finishing. Curved glass may require heat shaping. Inspect the kit on its liner and report a mismatch, damage or visible defect before peeling, cutting, shrinking or applying film.

What if my Legacy year or body style is not listed?

Send the exact year, make, full model name, body style and glass details through our contact page. Do not change the vehicle description to fit a listed range. Ask about pattern availability before payment.

Can I order the front windshield with this kit?

The table covers side and rear windows only. Request a separate windshield check with the vehicle year and details of the mirror, camera and sensor area. Roof glass is not added by choosing a windshield option.

Sedan and wagon have different listed year ranges

The Legacy sedan entry covers 1995–2013; the wagon entry covers 1990–2007. For example, a 1992 wagon appears in the table while a 1992 sedan does not. A 2008 sedan entry does not establish 2008 wagon availability. Enter your actual year, make, model, body style and trim in the vehicle-description field, or provide your VIN. Keep the actual vehicle details unchanged. If the description or glass configuration is unclear, contact support before ordering. These catalog ranges do not establish identical patterns or installation procedures across years. Provide your exact year, body and trim; pattern availability is checked before fulfillment. Separate Legacy from Outback in your order

Use the full model name in the vehicle records and include the trim. If the car is identified as Outback, request the Outback pattern check. Similar Subaru names do not establish interchangeable glass, film patterns or trim-removal instructions.

Match pieces and plan access

For a sedan, assess rear-glass access from the cabin before opening the liners. For a wagon, plan access to the hatch glass and fixed side panes separately. Identify every supplied piece against the confirmed configuration and report an unexplained shape or missing pane before installation. Inspect the order label, shades, film condition and intended window for each piece with every protective liner attached. Photograph and report an incorrect pattern, missing piece, shipping damage or visible defect before peeling, cutting, heating or installation. Keep the packaging and labels.
