Plan your tint installation
Prepare before you peel. Start with the instructions for your exact film and kit.
This guide helps you plan and inspect a kit. It does not replace film-specific application instructions or a vehicle-specific installation demonstration.
Before ordering
- Confirm the year, model, body or cab style and glass layout.
- Check the included and excluded windows, tools and accessories.
- Review the installation instructions and decide whether you need an installer.
Inspect and report problems BEFORE use
Check for incorrect items, missing pieces, damage and visible defects before use, removing any liner, cutting, heat shrinking or installation. If anything looks wrong, stop and contact us while the film is unused and uninstalled. Keep the liners, labels and packaging and take clear photos.
Prepare your workspace
Use the tools and application materials specified for the film. Do not assume tools, spray solution or a heat gun are included. Keep the glass and film clean and avoid folding the pieces.
Application and curved glass
Pre-cut film still needs careful application. Curved glass may require heat shrinking. Follow instructions for the actual film and vehicle; there is no single temperature, technique or installation time for every kit.
After installation
Follow the film-specific guidance for curing, window operation and cleaning. Damage caused by installation, cutting, heat shrinking, handling or misuse is not a product defect. If a defect could not reasonably have been discovered before use, stop using the item and contact us for review. Applicable nonwaivable rights remain protected.
Contact MotorPeak Supply before starting if you have questions.
