2010 Honda Accord Sedan Window Tint Removal Guide
For a 2010 Honda Accord sedan, plan old-tint removal as two jobs: clearing the film and adhesive from the side windows, then protecting the defroster and antenna wires while the rear glass is cleaned. Inspect the bare glass before fitting replacement tint.
Use this checklist to plan the work with an installer. The filmed Accord job below is a short overview; use your actual remover and equipment instructions for the removal procedure.

Before removing tint from your Accord
- Confirm the four-door sedan. Record the model year, trim and any replacement panes. Compare the actual glass and seals before choosing a pattern or removal method.
- Check each pane. Photograph bubbles, peeling edges, adhesive haze and existing scratches. Record the rear defroster's operation and any previous glass or electrical-line repairs.
- Agree on the complete job. Specify the door windows and rear pane that need film removal, adhesive cleanup and replacement. Ask how rear-window wires will be protected and how the finished glass will be inspected.
- Inspect before opening new film. Resolve remaining film layers, glue, damaged seals or glass. Follow the chosen remover and new film instructions for final preparation and waiting times.

Protect the rear-window wires
Honda's 2010 Accord Sedan owner's manual, printed page 74, warns that the defogger and antenna wires on the inside of the rear window are easily damaged. It instructs owners to wipe sideways when cleaning the glass.
Keep scraping tools away from printed lines and stop if a wire appears to lift with the old film. Have an installer assess brittle film or difficult access. Ask them to record the lines' condition and check the defroster after the work. Honda's sideways-wiping direction applies to cleaning the glass; it is not a direction for peeling tint.
Order replacement tint for the sedan
Check the Honda Accord fitment page, then enter 2010 Honda Accord sedan, your trim and relevant glass details, or VIN, in the sides-and-rear kit order form. MotorPeak checks the matching pattern before fulfillment. Report replacement glass or an unusual layout before ordering.
Enter front-side and rear-glass shade choices separately. The main kit uses nano-carbon dyed film and covers the confirmed side windows and rear glass. Windshield film needs separate coverage and a pattern check; roof glass, tools and installation labor are excluded.
Choose replacement Accord tint
Before peeling a liner, read the pre-cut installation checklist. A pre-cut rear-window piece may still need shaping on curved glass.
