Dodge Grand Caravan Window Tint Installation Guide
For Dodge Grand Caravan installation, complete the front doors before moving to sliding-door glass, any separate quarter panes and the rear glass. Secure moving doors and vent hardware, and protect their switches before applying solution.
Separate the sliding-door glass, venting rear-quarter panes and liftgate glass on your pane checklist. A vent pane’s hinge and opening edge need their own piece match; keep film off moving gaps and protect the door controls from runoff.
Prepare Dodge Grand Caravan glass before applying film
The 2013 Grand Caravan manual describes two optional power vent windows in addition to the front and rear power windows. The vent-window switch is on the driver’s door. 2013 Dodge Grand Caravan Owner’s Manual, 38–40.
Keep Grand Caravan and Caravan distinct
This entry covers the Dodge Grand Caravan van from 2008–2020. Enter the complete Grand Caravan model name, actual year and trim rather than a shortened or substitute selection. Select the exact year, body and trim. MotorPeak machine-cuts your selected vehicle pattern; contact us for unlisted years or modified glass.
Check which van windows move
Record the operation of sliding-door and rear-quarter panes on your actual van. Match the piece labels and supplied diagram with liners attached, including any hardware or opening edges. Follow exact-vehicle instructions for window position; do not bridge a moving gap or alter controls from a different van’s demonstration.

Use the Dodge Grand Caravan vehicle page to confirm the selection. Keep every liner attached while matching the pieces to the actual panes. If an edge or opening does not match, photograph it and ask for help before cutting or peeling.
Apply the matched pieces and check the edges
Protect the interior from application liquid, finish cleaning the accessible glass edges and follow the installation video and installation sequence. Pre-cut film may still need shaping on curved glass. Follow the supplied curing instructions before operating windows or cleaning fresh film.
For existing film, complete the Dodge Grand Caravan removal checks first. Confirm windshield and roof coverage separately from a sides-and-rear order. Send your vehicle details and photos if a supplied piece or glass feature is uncertain.
Your Dodge Grand Caravan fitting sequence
- Match and clean. Lay each piece on its liner, identify its intended pane and check orientation. Remove old film and glue first. Clean accessible glass edges and seals, then protect switches and trim from liquid.
- Fit a front rolling window. Lower it enough to reach the top edge. Wet the inside glass and exposed adhesive as the liner separates, position the film and squeegee with overlapping passes. Raise the pane carefully to finish the lower section without folding the film.
- Complete the remaining sides. Use the matching rear-door pieces where fitted, then the separate fixed panes. Keep moving gaps, hinges and latches clear; do not trim an unexpected piece merely to make it fit.
- Shape and apply the rear piece. Dry-check curved glass with the liner attached. Shape film on the exterior when needed, using controlled heat and keeping it moving; the final adhesive installation goes on the inside. Keep sharp tools away from heater or antenna traces and leave brake-light output unobstructed.
- Inspect and cure. Check edges, corners and trapped solution before cleanup. Keep newly tinted windows closed for at least five days and wait at least seven days before cleaning. Cold or humid weather can extend drying; mild moisture haze can take up to three weeks to clear.
If the film bunches on curved glass, review shaping and rear-glass access. For haze, bubbles or lifted edges, use the close-up troubleshooting guide.
