Before removing a liner

  1. Confirm the year, model, body style and every intended window. Compare the pieces with their protective liners intact. Report mismatches, visible defects or shipping damage before cutting, heating, peeling or installing.
  2. Prepare a clean, sheltered workspace, film-compatible application solution, a clean spray bottle, smooth-edged squeegee and low-lint towels. Read the supplied film instructions first.
  3. Clean the interior glass and accessible edges. Protect trim and electrical openings from liquid. Avoid scraping or cutting defroster lines, antennas and coatings.
  4. Plan curved-glass shaping while the liner remains attached. If you cannot confidently form the film, ask a qualified installer to handle that piece.

Position, squeegee and allow curing

Follow the supplied wet-application sequence. Keep exposed adhesive away from dust and fingerprints, confirm alignment before firm squeegee passes, and work out the solution as instructed. Stop if the pattern does not align; forcing or trimming it can damage an otherwise correctable item.

Follow the supplied curing and cleaning instructions before lowering windows. Have lifting edges or persistent visibility problems assessed rather than repeatedly pressing, puncturing or peeling the film.
