2007 Ford F-350 Window Tint Removal Guide

Planning to replace old tint on a 2007 Ford F-350? Start with the glass and cab you actually have. Use the glass-care checks and replacement-fitment checklist below before removing film or ordering a new kit.

2007 F-350: resolve the cab before the pattern

Regular Cab or Crew Cab / SuperCrew
These are the 2007 cab choices listed in the current catalog. Select the actual cab, then confirm the rear-glass layout and panes included; a listed cab does not resolve every glass variation.
Extended Cab
This guide does not confirm a 2007 pattern. Send the cab and glass details for a fitment check instead of choosing a different cab to complete the order.
Cab uncertain or glass replaced
Identify those details first. Matching the model year alone cannot confirm your cab and rear-glass configuration.

Keep the rear-window description separate from the cab name: record whether it is fixed or sliding and whether it has visible electrical elements. Include that description with your F-350 fitment question. After confirmation, use the kit order form and F-350 installation guide.

Glass and interior cleaning checks

The 2007 Ford owner’s guide specifies non-abrasive cleaner for the windshield, rear glass, and side glass. Ford warns against abrasive cleaning and against fuel, kerosene, or paint thinner. It also says to keep chemical solvents and strong detergents off the steering wheel and instrument panel.

These are glass and interior-care limits, not Ford instructions for removing aftermarket film. A general glass cleaner is not automatically a suitable adhesive remover. Confirm compatibility with the actual glass, coatings, film, and surrounding materials before using a removal product.

Plan the removal before starting

  1. Identify each pane. Record your cab type and whether the rear glass is fixed or sliding. Compare the actual truck, including any replacement glass, with your intended replacement pattern.
  2. Confirm there is applied film. Do not assume every dark pane has a removable tint layer. Ask an installer to check uncertain glass before trying to lift an edge.
  3. Inspect and protect the cabin. Check existing glass damage and seal condition, and protect the instrument panel, switches, and upholstery from runoff. Keep cleaning products on their intended surfaces.
  4. Choose a documented removal method. Use the instructions for the actual film/removal product or have a tint professional assess it. Confirm the recommended heating temperature, distance, dwell time and adhesive-cleanup procedure before starting.
  5. Separate film removal from adhesive cleanup. A sheet coming off does not mean the glass is ready. Check for residual glue and clear film before installing new tint. Review our general removal and replacement guide for product-instruction checks.
  6. Assess the rear pane separately. Inspect any heating lines, antenna elements, sliders, and seals. Have the actual pane and its electrical elements assessed before proceeding.

Match the 2007 F-350 cab before ordering

Our current catalog includes 2007 F-350 Regular Cab and Crew Cab / SuperCrew patterns. It does not establish 2007 Extended Cab coverage. Do not substitute another cab's kit. Confirm fitment using your actual cab and rear-glass details.

Confirm your F-350 cab and rear-glass fitment

After confirming coverage, enter your year, make, model, cab and rear-glass details, or your VIN, in the replacement sides-and-rear tint order form, then follow our Ford F-350 installation guide. Windshield film is separate. Confirm all desired panes before paying.

Browse the vehicle removal-guide directory for other vehicle checklists.
