This guide applies to our SR5 Premium 2014–2024 option. On a vehicle that may already have years of use, documenting the paint and any existing film is as important as matching the kit.

Check this before you peel the liner

Compare the SR5 Premium bumper, hood and exterior accessories. Do not substitute Limited, TRD or 2025+ bodywork without confirmation. Check for old film and repainted panels before the installer commits to preparation.

Compare the actual kit diagram with your vehicle while the film remains on its backing. Coverage and seams follow the supplied pattern; full vehicle does not automatically mean every trim surface, no seams or wrapped edges.

Your installation plan

Start with our preparation and application workflow, then use these checkpoints for your vehicle. These are planning checks, not a tested set of anchor points for this kit.

1. Inspect what is already on the paint

   Look for film borders on the hood, bumper and small vulnerable areas. If something is cracked or lifting, have a professional identify whether it is film or paint. Photograph it before removal or correction so the starting condition is clear.

2. Map accessories around the body

   Show the installer racks, steps, flares, badges and any aftermarket bumper equipment. Compare supplied sections around each item. A pattern for standard bodywork cannot be assumed to cover a modified shape.

3. Plan the rear-panel boundaries

   Use the diagram to identify pieces around the liftgate, handle and any spoiler sections. Check intended breaks near moving panels before application. At handover, inspect the lower doors and rear loading area as well as the hood.

Watch the PPF installation demonstration on YouTube. This is third-party general technique using 3M film, not a demonstration of your exact vehicle or the RAVOOY kit. Follow your supplied film instructions for fluids, temperature, stretching and cure time.

Can this guide be used to order for a 2025 or 2026 4Runner?

No. Our currently listed kit stops at 2024 and is specifically labeled SR5 Premium.

Pause before cutting, stretching further or removing more backing. Send MotorPeak Supply your order number, kit label, exact vehicle details and photos showing the whole panel and the mismatch. Keep unused film and packaging. Review the return policy before altering a kit.
