Ask your technician to confirm the VIN, engine code, required part references and head-gasket thickness/grade using the correct workshop procedure and measurements. Do not assume every referenced gasket grade is included in one set.
Inspect the delivered kit and compare each required seal before starting the repair. A model name, badge or “2.0” description alone is not enough to establish compatibility.

- Parts verification: confirm the gasket grade, orientation and contents. Apply sealant only where the applicable instructions require it.
- Reassembly: follow the prescribed fastener renewal, tightening sequence, torque/angle stages and timing checks. Generic torque figures from a different engine are not suitable.
After installation
The technician should complete the manufacturer's refill, bleeding, leak inspection and functional checks before returning the vehicle to service. Keep the repair invoice and part identification. If overheating, a warning light or a new leak occurs, stop using the vehicle when safe and contact the repair shop.
