Check this before you peel the liner

Match the sedan body, front bumper openings, rear bumper and mirror shape. If your registration uses a named US trim rather than Base, send the year, trim and front/rear photos to MotorPeak before ordering.

Compare the actual kit diagram with your vehicle while the film remains on its backing. Coverage and seams follow the supplied pattern; full vehicle does not automatically mean every trim surface, no seams or wrapped edges.

Your installation plan

Start with our preparation and application workflow, then use these checkpoints for your vehicle. These are planning checks, not a tested set of anchor points for this kit.

1. Use the bumper as the fitment checkpoint

   Compare the bumper piece while it remains on its backing. Account for each opening and separate section. A mismatch at an intake or lamp area is a reason to stop, not an invitation to create a new opening with a blade.

2. Lay out the sedan side pieces

   Pair left and right pieces and identify door-handle and fuel-door areas from the diagram. Keep the pieces indexed by panel so similar-looking sections do not get swapped halfway through the job.

3. Give corners a final inspection

   Look along each corner at a shallow angle after installation. A corner that repeatedly stands up needs a diagnosis of alignment, tension or contamination. Do not copy online advice to burn the edge or cut directly on painted panels.

Use it only to understand general handling. The Type R is not the sedan fitment listed here, and its panel layout is not our cutting pattern.
