Your installation plan

Start with our preparation and application workflow, then use these checkpoints for your vehicle. These are planning checks, not a tested set of anchor points for this kit.

1. Separate paint from trim on your checklist

   Walk around the Explorer with the kit diagram and record which pieces are actually supplied. Mark areas around the grille, pillars and liftgate that you want covered; confirm those pieces exist before booking installation.

2. Plan access to upper panels

   Use a stable working platform that allows comfortable access without leaning on the vehicle. Decide how the installer will reach any supplied roof sections around existing equipment. Roof rails do not justify stretching a piece across an obstruction.

3. Check the rear as carefully as the front

   Map the liftgate badge, handle, camera and lamp boundaries before placing rear pieces. After installation, inspect the lower liftgate and bumper loading area with the liftgate open and closed. Any trim removal should follow the vehicle service procedure.
